To play cafe, with love

Life has been chugging along quite nicely and quietly this week.  We enjoyed a great visit with our friends from the south.  The Filburn family made the trek up from Lexington, for a weekend of fun, fantasy football and adult beverages. We all had a great visit, thanks for coming up guys!

I'm writing from my beloved play cafe, where I can buy an hour of sanity and coffee. It's funny, I can't even think about leaving the room without epic meltdowns occurring at home, but I can totally just plop them in the play room here and walk away without a single whimper.
The kids are perfecting their cuteness and hilarity with every passing day. Sloane is now saying "hi", and other gibberish I pretend to understand. Hudson has been handing out the hugs and kisses like crazy, he's such a little snuggle puppy, as well as a good sharer. Dylan is perfecting the finer art of silent talking. He moves his mouth and gestures emphatically, but no sound comes out. All 3 have been mimicking having a phone conversation. Apparently the following items resemble phones:
Books
Bananas
Blocks
Shoes
Tomorrow we hit the road for a long weekend in Kalamazoo.  We look forward to celebrating baby Vemuri!
