Back on the Grid
Hello all, and happy New Year! After taking a few weeks away from the blogosphere to enjoy the holiday season, the Solack trio is back in action. We sincerely hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We had a supremely delightful season; enjoying company, extra time in our PJs, and gluttony. It was a Christmas to remember for sure, I certainly will never forget the look on the kid's faces as they came down the steps to see the living room transformed into a veritable toy store.
Now that we are back to the grind, we've been trying to stay warm, and healthy. We've fought our first battle with the flu, which took us down 1 by 1 (all but Dylan, actually...he was lucky to miss it miraculously). I'm incredibly happy to say that we are out of the woods now, and are only dealing with runny noses.
We are looking forward to a quiet weekend, and hopefully a warm up...way up to the freezing point!
Just 2 boys, jumping on their trampoline!
Then playing house
In the middle of the chaos
Hanging out in the cottage with Nana
Sloane says, I'll just watch
"Like my new hat?"
Vacuuming, just like mommy
Trying on dad's new shirt
Not sure what to say about this one
There is nothing more "Sloane" than this pic. Got my bow tie, my baby and my books. I'm all set.
They sat in their chairs and watched tv for 12 beautiful, calm, quiet seconds.
Nothing sweeter than spontaneous hugs.
Just hanging out with Hudson.
More unconventional hat attire.
Not to be left out, Huddy had to try it on as well, and check out how it looks.
"Hold my hand and let's go down the steps together"
"Come here...I love you"
We gave the kids a cardboard box, and they did what you'd expect; took turns sitting in it then take a lap around the kitchen island.
