Recently we said goodbye to a member of our family. The old triplet taxi has gone on to a better place. She was beloved by all and an absolute godsend during our first year. It was our only mode of transportation for a long time and the only method that enabled us to get out of the house. I owe many naps in those first few months to her, and she saved my sanity on many occasions. Some of our earliest memories were made in the triplet taxi, and I'm very grateful for her service to our family. The good news is that though she is physically gone from our crazy home, she has gone on to a new triplet family to make their lives happy, too! I must admit, I got a little teary-eyed when the new family was taking her away. How are my babies too big for this stroller already?!?!

| our first walk |

| our second walk! |
So, while I was taking a stroll down memory lane (see what I did there?) I started thinking about the evolution of our walks around the neighborhood. In those early days taking a walk served 2 purposes; lull the kids to sleep and get mom out of the house. Then, a few months down the road the goal of the walk was to never, under any circumstances let the kids fall asleep, which would ruin their nap times. Most of the time I would listen to music and enjoy the non crying noises for a while. Fast forward down the proverbial road a few more months and we now have an educational purpose added into our daily walks. The kids learned the words dog, tree, truck and car during this phase. Most recently the walks have been about me seeing the world through their eyes. Now we stop to blow dandelion puffs and giggle, throw helicopter seeds in the air and watch them twirl, examine pine cones, watch the geese fly in amazement, etc. We may only go about a mile, but it takes about an hour. I'm looking forward to seeing how the daily walks continue to evolve.
We are heading to Lexington, KY for the weekend. The kids haven't been on the road for a while, Here's to hoping it's a great trip! We can't wait to see the Filburns!

| We took the kids to Chipotle for dinner, they really, really liked it! |
 |
| There was more rice on his face/lap than in his belly |
 |
Sloane loved it so much, she went into food coma...but continued to eat as we all do at Chipotle. |

| Thus begins Hugfest 2015 |

| We brought hugfest to our triplet friends' house! |

Can you seriously believe we got two sets of 2 year old triplets to line up for a picture?!?!? That's a lot of cuteness in one picture. |
