From the mouths of babes

Without further ado, I present to you a list of entertaining things my kids have said this week

During dinner one evening, Hudson delivered a 1, 2 punch to old mom and dad.
Huddy- "Daddy, why don't you have hair?"
Daddy- "Because I'm old"
Huddy- "But, Mommy has hair."

During bath time, Sloane gave me a dose of my own medicine
*Dylan splashed me pretty good*
Me:  "Oh man, Dylan, why did you do that?? I'm soaking wet!"
Sloane- "Shake it off, mom"
Touche.

During breakfast Dylan had been sitting on his foot for a while and it fell asleep.  He jumped up, started dancing around and shouting "Who's tickling me?!?!?"

Apparently the spirit of the olympics has grabbed a hold of the kids.  While at the pool one morning, the boys noticed a lady swimming laps.  Dylan shouted "Look mom, Olympics!" He and Huddy then followed her down the lane chanting "USA, USA, USA"!!!  I was super proud and not even embarrassed a little bit.  I sincerely hope that she swam a personal record that day.

When you are so into the Olympics, you don't realize there is a carrot in your hair.

A perfect 10!

In other news, we've hit a new milestone recently, one that has me very proud.  The kids can play together, unattended for an extended period of time without anyone getting hurt or an all out brawl starting.  I'm not sure you'll find that one in any of the baby books, but it's pretty important none the less.
