If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

Still Here!
Well, well, well… Look who decided to show up.
So, the blog has apparently been
unattended for quite some time. It’s not that I’ve not been thinking about it,
or have nothing to add to it. It’s just that life is InSaNe-O busy. And I’m tired.Like really, really tired all the time.I don’t know why ;) Thus, the blog has been
on the back burner.
But, I had a few free moments today, so I thought I’d sneak
a post in to update everyone!
We’ve been having a great summer! Though we did not go on a
vacation this year, we’ve enjoyed swimming in the pool at Geeg’s house, playing
with our neighborhood friends and riding our bikes.Yesterday, we stopped in the preschool to
drop off our final paperwork for the school year.School officially starts on September 7th,
less than one month of summer left!We
are looking forward to it, but determined to enjoy the rest of our unscheduled
summer days.
The kiddos continue to grow at an astounding rate, both
physically and mentally.At last check,
Dylan was 47 pounds, Huddy was 38, and Sloane was 37.
They’ve all be experimenting with vocabulary, using words
and phrases like:
“I have a cunning
plan”
-Sloane
“My hair looks really trendy”
-Hudson
“When my mom goes to work, it’s heartbreaking”
-Dylan
Their imaginary play has grown by leaps and bounds as
well.I absolutely love listening in
(and participating in) their play.A few
of their favorite games these days are Firefighter, Dinosaur Doctor, Regular
Doctor and Astronaut. They come up with
some hilarious scenarios.
My new blog goal is once a month, or when something super special needs shared! Till the next time, enjoy the pics of the last few weeks of our summer!
Someone thinks they are cute (and she's right!)
