Of course having children was something Cal and I have wanted for a long time. Having these three is absolutely a dream come true. However, there have been some events recently that leave me (and I'm sure most other expecting moms as well) worried about the world in to which we are brining life. The world is, at times, a sad, scary place.
On Sunday though, as I sat around the table with some of the best friends and family anyone could ever as for, I was reminded that there is infinitely more good than evil in the world. The triplets had their third and final shower this weekend and it was a beautiful day with beautiful people. Aunt Lara, Mom and Carmen threw a great party that left me stunned at how lucky Cal and I are to have the wonderful support system that we do. We cannot wait for the kiddos to meet you all, they will never know just how lucky they are to have you in their lives!
Thank you to everyone who came out for the shower, I can't stop smiling because of you!
