Out Takes

For every darling picture we snap of the kids, there are dozens that don't make the cut. We go through many a goofy picture before we get even one decent one.  I guess you'll have that when attempting to photograph 3 children.
Our strategy is to be patient and just keep shooting until we get one that captures their adorableness.

We try new poses, in different places.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not.

We attempt to snap pics at different times of day; after a nap, after a bottle, before bedtime, after bath time.  You just can't ever tell what the magic hour is, but we try anyway!

Sometimes we figure out the exact right moment, lighting, and pose for a great shot right away.

But most of the time we experience epic failures before figuring it out.

However at the end of the day, what we are left with are amazing memories and captured moments of what our real life is like everyday.  Mistakes and all, I prefer them to the picture perfect photos.
