Yay! We're not totally screwing this up! As it turns out none of the kiddos are suffering from any of the following ailments I, very honestly, inquired about:
A cold
A mystery rash (no rashes at all, not even baby acne)
A too big tongue
A foreign belly button object
Swollen feet due to water retention
[Commence bragging] Everyone is doing great! In fact the doctor was very impressed with their development. All three kiddos showed off their skills by responding to their names, rolling from side to side, and holding their heads up while on their tummies. The doc even said they are exhibiting milestones typical of 8 and 9 month olds [Bragging completed].
They are still eating every 3 hours and eating 4-5 ounces each. Which is great and means that they are growing, however that means that sleep is still a hot commodity around these parts. We've been given reason to believe that around the 8 week mark they will start going longer between feedings. Dear God, please let this be true.
Dylan now weighs a whopping 9 pounds, 8 ounces. He has gained close to 4 pounds in a month! He is incredibly strong, and very snuggly.
Hudson weighed in at 7 pounds 13 ounces, overtaking Sloane for second biggest. He gained over 3 pounds in a month, and is appearing less "preemie" everyday! He has been so playful recently and is simply growing up before our eyes.
Sloane now weighs 7 pounds 8 ounces, gaining a little over 2 pounds. She is really blowing our minds with how much she is eating these days. She loves to be held (eek!) and watch everything you do!
