Perhaps only fascinating to Mommy and Daddy. Everything babies do is fascinating to their parents, right? The kiddos are getting bigger and smarter everyday. It is amazing to watch them develop and explore their world. I will get to do this much more from now on as I am officially a Stay at Home Mommy; a role I never envisioned myself in, but one that I couldn't be happier to hold.
Our big eleven weekers had their 2 month well-baby check up Tuesday and impressed the doc again. They were very brave for their vaccinations (one in each leg!) and I didn't even cry this time! I earned my glass of wine and ice cream dinner that day!

| The realization that this is the best we are going to get. |
Hudson Pierce weighs 11 pounds and is 22 inches long! He enjoys tummy time, but only because it is a new, comfortable way for him to sleep (silly boy!). He is a great sleeper, when he is not napping during tummy time, he loves to sleep on his side with his little arm under his head, just like mommy! He is so attentive, and is constantly trying to get the attention of his siblings. I hate to break it to ceiling fan, but I think brother and sister may be overtaking it for "most interesting thing to watch". He also enjoys reading books, his favorite so far is "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom". He is a happy boy, but definitely still has his temper! We are learning that his middle name is an accurate description of his crying (Why didn't we name him Hudson Soothing?!?!) Good thing we still think it's cute!

Sloane Monroe weighs 10 pounds 3 ounces and is also 22 inches long. I don't understand how it happened, since we treat them all the same, but she is all girl (having triplets is definitely a constant social/science experiment). "Pretty Girl", as we've come to call her, likes to coo and carry on conversations. Things she dislikes are: eating and not being held. Somedays I'm certain she is on a hunger strike because we've not held her enough. If it were up to her, she'd prefer to eat 1 ounce every hour and be carried everywhere. Unfortunately, that doesn't fit our schedule too well. She is the most expressive out of all three. Her smiles are frequent, and she even has a grumpy face she makes when she is put in her "digestion chair"(bouncer seat, where she goes in an attempt to lessen the spit up action).

| Such a big girl! |

Dylan Nash is tipping the scales at 13 pounds 13 ounces and is 23 inches long. Surprisingly, he is our big eater (did my sarcasm font show up?). He does great during tummy time, lifting his head and tucking his knees underneath his body, it almost appears as if he is getting ready to crawl (Lord help us!). At the appointment, the doctor held him up in a standing position, and he shocked us all by stepping one foot forward. No one told him that he is a premature triplet! The picture frames in the nursery make him laugh, and he is mesmerized by the TV (we try not to have it on too often, however when all three are crying, it's a pretty nice weapon to have in the arsenal). For such a big boy, he has the squeakiest of cries. It is hard to take too seriously, as it sounds more like a squeak toy.
