20 weeks old and getting bigger everyday! Some of their favorite pastimes include; playing in the jumpers, sitting in their highchairs with us at the dinner table, putting their hands in their mouths, and playing with Sophie the Giraffe. Some nights are better than others, but we are getting close to sleeping through the night on a regular basis. As a matter of fact signs of "babydom" are rapidly vanishing from our house. The baby swings are put away and have been replaced with jumpers, the bouncy seats are out grown and they are becoming bored with their activity mats. It pains me to put these things away as it forces me to realize and accept how big they are getting. I'm happy and proud to see them grow, but I can't wrap my head around the fact that they are getting so old! For almost 9 months I planned and pictured these newborns, and now they are newborns no more. I had this envision of them as infants, but for some reason that envision never progressed past 1 or 2 months old. It's like I couldn't even think that far in the future at the time, and all of a sudden the future is here! Cal and I could not be more enthralled with them. Of course everything they do is the most amazing thing we've ever seen. Typical exclamations in our house include but are not limited to:
"That was the best sneeze ever!"
"Wow, good job on that toot!"
"You are the best at yawning!"
"I'm so proud of that burp!"
For your viewing pleasure
I've recently taken some video of the kids doing what they do best: being awesome. Unfortunately, I've not figured out how to make these viewable on mobile devices. So for now these can only be seen on a computer or laptop. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Chatting it up with Sloane
