Coming full circle

A year and a half ago when we moved into our home, well- for starters we thought 4 bedrooms would be more than enough for our family (haha), we also knew that we wanted to build a patio that Spring.  Then we found out we were having triplets, and the patio got put on the back burner for a year.  We decided that we'd have it built after the kids arrived, knowing that they'd be close to a year old, but it would be better timing than when they were newborns!  The whole time we were making this plan I was just picturing our little nuggets as 1 year olds playing outside.  It was really one of the only ways I could visualize them besides being squishy little babies.
Fast forward 11 months, and the patio has been built, and the kiddos are closing in on that one year mark.  I keep having these out of body moments where we are living out those visualizations I previously had.  I feel like I've been given an amazing gift, to see some of our dreams come true.  It's funny, even though they are these wild and crazy (5 days short of) 11 month olds, in my mind they are still my tiny little babies.  I guess it will always be that way.

Right now we are locked in a pretty dead heat for who will walk first.  They are all so incredibly close.  They only lack the confidence to take off, and maybe a little coordination, too!  If I were a betting woman, I'd put my money on Huddy.  He let Dyl and Sloane crawl first, but I think he is going to take the blue ribbon on this one.  They are each taking several awkward steps before diving forward.  It really seems like any day they will be going from putting one foot in front of the other, to walking across the floor.  We are in a pretty sweet spot these days, in which the kids don't constantly need my attention to be happy.  They can play and entertain each other while I watch from afar (the couch).  It doesn't always last long, but I can enjoy about a half a cup of coffee before I have to swoop in and rescue someone.  The tooth count stands at Dylan; 6 (working on numbers 7 and 8), Hudson: 6 and Sloane: 4.  We've been stuck inside recently due to the weather, and really missing our daily walks.
Okay, maybe that's just me.

Week 47!
Yay! Everybody is looking!
All smiles

Look at those blue eyes!

Oh, hello.  Didn't see you there.
Thanks to the Filburns for the fun sensory table, it's
been nice on these rainy days!

Heart=melted

Hi, my name is Dylan.  I swear I'm not a grown man.
Ready for his close up!
And now, for the clip of the week; I present to you "wrestle mania" featuring Hudson and Dylan.  No babies were harmed in the making of this production.
