We're told that this is a very common occurrence, and is just bad luck that it happened to her. Right now it's looking like she should be discharged tomorrow.
We want to thank everyone who helped us out this week during doctor appointments. We are very grateful for your help. The boys have been awesome at entertaining themselves while I took care of Sloane, and have been very flexible with the various caregivers who've been in to stay with them.
Everything is going as well as it can be at the moment, but we still welcome positive thoughts and prayers sent our way.
We will be sure to keep you all updated on her recovery. Nothing can keep crazy Sloanie bologna down!

ReplyDeleteI just heard about Sloane. Tell your mom I know what its like from a grandmothers perspective to see your little grandchild in the hospital. I feel so bad for her and everyone. But I know with God on her side she will recover quickly. Hope she gets to come home soon and is on the mend. I'm sure the boys miss her as well as her missing her brothers.
