A little bit of everything

Weather
Boom Boom Boom Mr. Brown is a wonder Boom Boom Boom Mr. Brown makes thunder...
As of the last few days, those are no longer just words from one of the kids' favorite books.  It has been quite stormy the last few days.  It's the first time I can think of that the kids have really experienced thunderstorms.  So far they've not been too scared.  Let's hope it stays that way.  This weekend is supposed to clear up so we are looking forward to spending it outdoors.

Easter
We had an awesome Easter weekend with Nana and Papa.  The kids had their first egg hunt, and loved it so much, we hid them again and they had part 2!  I was really impressed with how well they grasped the concept.  We had a blast at the playgrounds, going out to dinner and just playing around the house.
Found One!

Putting them in his basket!

2 eggs!

He is an eggspert!

Look at all those eggs!

Action shot

Excuses, Excuses
I've recently begun to wonder when the "triplets excuse" will expire.  We are on the verge of being a family of 5 for 2 whole years.  Yet still I find myself excusing away some behaviors by playing the triplet card.
Running late?  I have triplets.
No makeup on in public? Triplets
Never attending social functions?  I have triplets.
Still look 5 months pregnant?  Yep.  Triplets.
Yoga pants for the 90th week in a row?  I.  Had.  3.  Babies.
I thought I'd have it more together by now.  Yes, life is easier now than when they were infants, but in some aspects it hasn't gotten easier- just different.  We are slowly working our way back to Normalville.

"rocka rocka rocka"

Yep.  That 21 month old is 3 feet tall.  And proud of it!

I asked them to sit on the couch so I could take a pic.
I couldn't believe all three listened to the directions.
This is the best shot I could get, though!

Please indulge me, and enjoy the following videos that highlight just how awesome my kiddos are this week :)

Hudson says "I tall!"

They've been OBSESSED with telling each other "Nice to meet ya!"
and shaking hands.

As well as bike riding and identifying colors!
