Fun Facts

Here are some fun facts about the Solack trio these days

They call each other funny names.  In their own little language, Dylan is DeeDee, Solane is Slowie (though she calls herself Slowadee) and Hudson is Hudsy or sometimes Buddy.

Sloane sings herself (and Dylan) to sleep every night.  It's more like humming, but no matter what it is adorable.

Dylan's favorite game is pretending to fall down and hurt his leg and wait for someone to come help him up.

Hudson is obsessed with Mary Poppins and asks for "Poppy" every time we get in the car.

Sloane runs to anyone who has been hurt or is sad and rubs their back and asks "you okay?"

The boys like to tell strangers "Nice to meet ya!"

All three love the songs "Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars and "All About that Bass" by Megan Trainor.

The trio have their first jobs!  Next Spring the kiddos will take on the responsibilities of Ring Bearers and Flower Girl at Uncle Evan and Aunt Sarah's wedding!  Congratulations you two, we are so touched that you asked the kids to be a part of your special day! We will start practicing now!

Hudsy and the Groom

Aren't these shirts, adorable?!?!  Sloane got a beautiful
necklace, which she promptly broke.
There's the beautiful bride in the background :)

We've officially started the terrible 2 phase, and I've heard "NO WAY!" far more than I care to admit. "Hudson, please eat your beans" - No Way
"Dylan, put your shoes on"- No Way
"Sloane, would you like a million dollars?"- No Way
At this point I give up on trying to get them to comply, I'm just trying to get them to say "No thank you" instead.

Speaking of the terrible 2s, bear with me while I get something off my chest...
To the fellow mom who rolled her eyes at me while Dylan threw a temper tantrum in Kroger; Thank you.  I was able to channel my anger at your lack of empathy into some extra calories burned at the gym.  I sincerely hope that my 3 children did not ruin your grocery shopping trip with your 1 child.
Also- I hope your little angel has an epic meltdown in the middle of a 14 hour flight.

Fun in the sun

awwww- look at that little cherub

Mom got a new hair cut!

Had to take a picture.  I asked them to sit in their chairs to eat their snacks...
and they actually did it!

It got warm enough to play in the sprinklers!
