If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?

Year 2
Here we stand at the precipice of your second birthday. How we've gotten to this point is beyond me. Between the daily grind and business of life, time is certainly flying by. Last year on your first birthday I shared some life lessons with you. Well buckle in and turn those listening ears way, way up, because here come some more!
- There aren't always three of everything. Sometimes there is only 1 or 2 and you have to share or wait your turn. Which is really hard, I know, but that's the way it is. Life isn't always fair and you have to be okay with that.
- You go up the ladder and down the slide. Always. Don't be that kid that climbs up the slide. No one likes that kid.
- Just because everyone else (your siblings) is doing it doesn't make it a good idea. Most specifically, when your siblings throw their eating utensils, do not join in with them. That will earn you a quick trip to baby jail every time.
- Even if you don't know the words to the song, sing it anyway. It doesn't stop you now and I hope it never does. Keep closing your eyes, tilting you head back and singing your little heart out. Never let a little thing like not knowing the words stop you.
Happiest birthday to the 3 of the most amazing kids around. You make us laugh, cry, bewildered, and thankful everyday. We hope you have the best day!
He was singing "we will, we will rock you".
Hi trucks!

Happy boy and momma!
Get down here, Dad!
Relaxing in the big bed, watching Elmo. Life is good.
So handsome
Speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil.
Eating at the big kid table, they must be getting old!
We found a frog in the backyard, and cuteness ensued.
