I'm genuinely happy to report that it's been a pretty quiet week at Triplet Headquarters. I do appreciate these weeks when life just seems to be happening to us. We've had fun going to birthday parties, the zoo to see the new lion cubs (adorable!), the library and enjoyed some cooler weather to begin a new month.
As we turn the calendar to October we find ourselves still just dabbling in the world of potty training. I'm truly in no rush to have them trained, and I'm trying to let them take the lead. So far, Dylan is still entirely disinterested in it. He will sit on the potty for 10 minutes then pee on the carpet the moment he gets off. Hudson will go on command and is doing great! Sloane will only go on the big toilet, but is the queen of number 2! One thing I've learned for sure is that NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES should a child other than the owner of the deposit get to flush said deposit. That is grounds for an instant meltdown. Flushing is everything around here. That's right, I break up fights over flushing the toilet. It's a glamorous life.
We are looking forward to Powell's Oktoberfest, a trip to the Pumpkin Farm and relaxing this weekend.
Happy October!
