In keeping with what has turned out to be this year's theme, the kiddos dressed up as their favorite characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. We didn't go door to door, and instead opted for hanging out in the front yard and handing out candy. A job which Dylan- I mean Mickey- took very seriously. He stood at the end of the drive way and made sure that not one child passed by without a piece of candy placed in their buckets. When one of their neighborhood buddies came by, he hooked him up with about 20 pieces. Everyone got a kick out of his fervor, and he was infamous by the end of the night. Donald and Minnie were less than thrilled about the whole idea, thanks to an unfortunate incident with our first trick or treaters. The very first group of kids that came to our house were dressed pretty scarily and they TERRIFIED Sloane and Hudson. To the point of convulsions and possible breaking down of doors. Unfortunately it kinda set the tone for the evening for those two. Huddy was even scared of a boy dressed as a giant banana. However, they loved their "costcumes" so I'd call the night a success!
