I guess what goes down, must come back up. Last week I wrote about how things were not so pleasant around these parts. However, this week the kids have been happy, kind and well behaved. I'm loving this new phase!! I've even let them take on some new responsibilities because of their awesome behavior. They've gotten to help load the dishwasher, take out the trash, and put the recycling out (can you believe these are things they actually get excited about?!?!). It occurs to me now that it is important to remember that just like us adults, kids go through changes and have up days and down days (weeks). It's hard to realize that during a rough patch, but easy to see it after the storm has passed. I'm so glad to have my sweet, caring, rule following kids back!
Another change we've experienced this week is that I started a part-time job!! The kiddos stay with my mom (aka Gee Gee) while I work around 10 hours a week. It just seemed like the right time to take on some responsibilities outside of the house. So far it has been great!
I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving! We are preparing to head up north to see Cal's family in Lake Orion. The kids have never been, so we are super excited for them to hang out with Nana, Papa, Aunt Janelle, Uncle Mike and cousins Elise and Avery! We apologize ahead of the time for bringing the crazy train to town!
We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

That's the perfect spot for that, babe.
Looking good girl!
We went out to dinner and had left overs. I let Dyl hold the box on our way home. He proceeded to hand out the left over pizza and there was none left once we got home!
Dyl is working the heels!
