I totally forgot to post yesterday! Silly me.
As I was preparing for yet another day in paradise and choosing what to wear for the day, it occurred to me that I have very stringent guidelines when it comes to my mommy uniform. Obviously it must be at least 70% elastic giving me enough stretch to quickly go from puzzle building to wrestling match referee, to human tunnel in 10 seconds flat. I also cannot wear anything that has drawstrings in it. The kids see those and think..."Great! Mom has a leash, I can use these to drag her anywhere I want her to be." Drawstrings are out. Hoods also fall under the same category. Pockets are an absolute MUST! You have no idea the amount of things I need to have on my person at any given time. Tissues, toys, phone, keys, food....actually if I could just sew a fanny pack onto a sweatshirt, that'd be even better! Finally, the pants have to be tight enough that when one of my little angels tugs on them to get my attention I'm not de-pantsed in public...or anywhere else.
The kids got to go out and enjoy some fresh air when we were treated to a nice dose of spring-like weather for a few days. It was very nice, but hard to explain that we can't go outside again today since it is back to 32 degrees.
