Long weekend: Earned

It's been such a hectic week, I'm really looking forward to a restful, long weekend of FOOTBALL! 

Last weekend was kicked off with a visit to urgent care for a breathing treatment for ol' Huddy Buddy.  Poor kiddo's asthma attack was so bad they sent him back to be treated right away.  Two breathing treatments later, we were released.  I got the patient home and he was so happy to be reunited with his siblings, they played happily together for 2 whole hours. Hudson (amped up on steroids) took a tumble and busted his lip open and nearly knocked his tooth out.   The good news is that the dentist says there's nothing to worry about, his tooth is just now in a new place. That was about all my poor heart could take for the weekend.  Sunday we wrapped everyone in bubble wrap and took it easy.

Earlier in the week we went back to school shoe shopping.  This big guy wears a size 11 shoe!  It was super fun to take them shopping and let them help pick out what they liked!  During our downtime (AKA no more injuries/health scares time) we did some arts and crafts.  Look out for the winged wacko's!

We had a lot of doctors appointments/follow ups for Hudson this week, and I'm happy to report that this kid is not afraid of medical professionals.  Here he is in the waiting room of the dentist's office, making new friends.

When we weren't at a doctor's office, we were working in the yard.  The trio helped mommy tear out some shrubs.  They truly were great helpers, and were so proud of themselves.

We also managed to fit in preschool orientation! On Wednesday, we got to go see their classroom, meet the teachers and familiarize ourselves with the school routine.  We left feeling so happy with our choice of school for them.  They are going to love being in school and will grow so much.  I'm very excited for them.
