The life and times of the kids, Solack: Soul Mates

You might find this moment of clarity a little weird, or you might think that I've tapped the box of wine a little early today, but I've got to tell you, I believe that the kids are my soul mates. I genuinely believe that I was put on this earth to be their mother, they bring my life so much purpose. I feel like my entire life has been preparing me for this role (not that I'm any good at it, or that I don't find myself crying in a locked closet occasionally). And I don't just mean it in an "everything happens for a reason" way- here comes the especially weird part- I have moments of such strong deja vu that I'm certain I've dreamt of these exact kids and moments before. Perhaps its my defense mechanism when things get really tough, but I firmly believe that the universe knew exactly what it was doing when they put us together.
Speaking of really tough-- we are transitioning from 2 naps to 1 this week. What started really successfully, has taken a detour into Oh-Man-This-Is-Awful-Ville. The kids are waking up pretty early in the morning due to the recent time change, and are super tired and cranky most of the day. I'm hoping (as with almost everything) that time and consistency will be my best friends and it will work itself out in the next few days. Though, positive thoughts would help, too, I'm sure...So send em on!
We've had fun playing with friends this week, finding fun things to do during rainy days and tomorrow is another triplet play date! Hope you guys are all looking forward to a great weekend!
