The Big 1-7 (months, that is!)

The kiddos turned 17 months old today!  To celebrate, we went to Target....again.  This time, I had the brilliant idea of letting them browse the toy section in order to get some good Christmas ideas.  Big mistake.  We left the toy aisle kicking and screaming.
Speaking of Christmas, the kiddos now say "Santa" and attempted to help me get started with the decorating.  Which is wildly different this year than any other.  Almost all of my decorations are not baby-proof.  This year, only the top 2/3rds of the halls will be decked.

Post-dinner viewing of Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer!
Dylan LOVED the Snowman Narrator.

In other domicile news; we've rearranged the house to create an even bigger play area for the kiddos. Where the formal living and dining areas once were, there is now a day care- err, play room.  They seem to like it so far, however even though they have tons of room, they still pile in the same square foot and fight over the same toy.

Exhibit A
I swear they wear clothes...sometimes.
We are still fighting the bear that goes by the name of "The 2-1 nap transition".  It seems as though no matter what I do, they still only take a 1.5 hour nap and are ready for bed at 5:30pm.  I know we will get it all sorted out, but it's hard to cope with in the mean time.  Thank goodness we've had Gram-Cracker here this week to help lighten the load.  Now, if Sloanie would ever get out of her lap and let her play with the boys, things would be even easier!  I'm pretty sure Sloane thinks Gram (Gee, according to her) is her own personal assistant.
Sloane and Gram reading the same book for the 1,000th time.
Ya know...just doing normal things...sitting in this laundry basket, reading a book.

Fun times at the library!

I let Hudson pick out his outfit for the day.

Ugh.... She is so pretty it hurts sometimes.

This is how you know someone had a good night's rest.
Here is a little peek at what a breakfast convo with triplets is like:

Not to be cliche, but can you believe next week is Thanksgiving?!?!  Just doesn't seem possible.  We all hope you are looking forward to a turkey and stuffing filled holiday with friends and fam!!
