Hope everyone is having a spooktacular holiday! The Solack three got into the spirit a little early this year and headed to Aunt Lara's office for a Halloween party. Dylan, Hudson and Sloane transformed into the 3 little pigs! They absolutely loved their costumes, and wore them proudly. Once we were at the party, Dyl walked around like he owned the place- using the calculators, fixing the copier, editing the very important looking white board and generally making friends with everyone. Sloane and Hudson were a little more reserved, but still appeared to have a good time (as long as they weren't too far away from Mommy). While we aren't taking them around the neighborhood trick or treating, they are going to dress up again tonight and greet the big kids at the door. I'll hopefully post more in costume pictures tomorrow.

Besides preparing for halloween, we've been having fun meeting other triplets and climbing up on to the kitchen table. Dylan babbles nonsense all day long, and does it with the most determined look on his face. It's as if he is saying "Why don't you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth woman?!?!" I'm sure it's exasperating for him. Sloane can almost always be found reading a book or asking someone to read one to her. She can name almost every animal in her favorite book. I've tried to instill a love of reading in them, but boy is it tedious to read the same book over and over and over. Hudson is the best direction follower ever. All I have to say is "meal time" and he is on his way to the highchair, or "shoes on" and he is sitting (always in the same spot by the door) with his feet presented and ready for shoes.

We are looking forward to seeing all the neighborhood kiddos in their costumes tonight! Happy Halloween!
