We're Baaaack!

After taking a week off from the blogosphere to celebrate Thanksgiving we are back with lots of updates to share!  While we were preparing our turkey in Powell, Ohio another little turkey was making it's way into the world in Charleston, South Carolina.  The trio gained a new cousin, Avery Kate, who arrived on Thanksgiving morning.  Congratulations Aunt Janelle and Uncle Mike, Elise is going to be a great big sis!
Thanksgiving was a whirlwind in the Solack household as we found out just how difficult it is to prepare a meal with 17 month olds underfoot.  We had a lot of fun with Nana and Papa, even though the kids did not love the Thanksgiving meal.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Our elf arrived this week!  He is here to help Santa keep an eye on the kiddos.  The kids are supposed to name him, but they are a little too young to do that this year.  However, I asked them what we should call him and Sloane replied "Shermie", so that's what we are calling him for now.  Here's the amazing thing; they don't understand "come here" but, I swear they understand that the elf is watching them.  They've been so nice to each other, and stop to wave at him while they are playing.
On the holiday note, we took the kids to Wildlights at the zoo, and they enjoyed it so much!  It was so crazy to see the difference a year makes.  Last year when we took them, we were able to wear them in carriers, and this year they were saying the names of the animals as we rode past them in the wagon.  It was definitely one of those moments that stop you right in your tracks.

This weekend we are going to go pick out our Christmas tree!  I'm loving all the holiday traditions we are starting and continuing as a family!

Wildlights!
Yikes, look out for that dinosaur!
Some other fun we've been having recently includes, our weekly trip to Target and also a few dinners out!  Dining out with the trio is relatively new territory.  Take a peek at the photos and let me know if you think they enjoy it!

What are we doing, Ma?

Huddy...going for it!

Fun in the playroom!  Yes, they boys are wearing their bowties.
Everyday the first thing they do upon entering the playroom is request to wear their ties,

When it's too cold to play outside and you just can't take another second in the house-
you head to Target and read their books.
