Party animals

We held our annual Christmas party last weekend and the kids were regular old socialites! It could have been a little scary to have lots of people in a loud house, but they had a great time. Of course Sloane found the nearest fellow gal pal and were insta-friends, Dylan found the crew of the oldest boys and hung out with the fellas, while Hudson worked the room and charmed everyone. I'm super proud of how well they did especially at bedtime when the party was still in full force.  I wouldn't have been surprised if they broke out into "So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, good night..." They hugged and kissed everyone and went right to bed. We had so much fun at the party, I didn't even take a single picture.  You'll have to trust me, the kids looked cute. But if you need evidence, once Sloane put her party outfit on, Dylan said "Wow Sloanie girl you so pretty!"  Then I almost died of pride overload.

Before the party started, we decided that Hudson needed a little hair cut. So off to the barbers we went. Huddy did a great job and now looks even more handsome!

This weekend we are heading to the mall to meet with Santa, so stay tuned for the results!  Sloane says she is excited and wants to wear her pink boots (she has no such thing).  Huddy and Dylie keep asking me if he will be scary.  Could be interesting!

Fun with (a million tiny pieces of) Playdoh!

What do you do when it's 65 degrees in the middle of December and you want to get in the holiday spirit?  Why, you get the ice packs out of the freezer and pretend to ice skate with them obviously.  We've also been watching Elf a lot recently, can you tell?
