Mom and Dad Take a Vacation (and other adventures)

There was no blog post last week because those taller than 4 feet flew the coop for a long weekend trip to Nashville!  We are beyond grateful to my mom, dad and sister for taking care of the kiddos while we took a breather.  It was so good to recharge, sleep in, eat, eat and eat...and, as an added bonus, we got to visit Evan and Sarah!  In a fun twist, Nashville was actually where we were when I started to figure out I was pregnant.  Nearly 5 years ago I struggled to keep food down, and stay awake for 3 days before a little light started to dawn that my biggest hope might be coming true. Little did I know exactly what we were in for!
We got to see a concert at the Ryman Auditorium

Cousin Time!

We came back to happy kids, and grandparents still in one piece.  It was a successful adventure.  On Wednesday, the kids' preschool celebrated Mother's Day by having all the moms in for tea and music.  While the adventure was slightly stressful as it was planned for 1 parent and 1 child (the invitation specifically noted that siblings were not to attend....umm, that's gonna be hard for us) it was still adorable and a great time!

Isn't their class the most adorable group of kids, ever?

Normal stuff....bells on our head.

Little darlings
The kids sang some great songs, and played Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the bells.  After every song, Hudson had some commentary.  "Mom! Did you like that song?", "Mom, was that good?",  and my favorite was after this one; "Take a picture!"

After a few musical performances, Dylan's interest started to wane.  In the next video is the precise moment that he quit all together.

But he is still awfully cute!  Seriously, how is he that big?

This week's weather has been terrible, so we've been trying to find our fun indoors.  We hope spring comes back soon!
