Checking up and Checking out

We had our nine month check up yesterday and learned a new challenge of having triplets.  When they were less mobile, we could just keep 2 kids in their car seats, while 1 had their check up.  Now that they are on the go, it was incredibly difficult to keep them corralled while waiting their turns.  They explored every inch of that examination room and kept us running the entire time.    We are learning of new challenges around every corner.  What fun!  Dr. Sarah was pleased with everyone's growth and development, and all 3 checked out great!
Dylan weighed in at 25.5 pounds (I'm not so sure that his whole body was on the scale, he's got to weigh more than that) and is 30 inches long.  He is walking around the house using his walker toy and can stand for a few seconds without holding on to anything.  We *think* he says "hi", but it could just be a well timed grunt...jury's still out.

Funny Face Dyl

Flirting with the stairs..he's gotten up 2 of them,
and mom had 2 drinks because of it.

Here is a video of Dyl walking it out.

Sloane weighs 17 pounds and is 27.5 inches long.  She is finally out of 6 month clothing, thanks mostly to her amazing eating abilities.  She is a voracious eater and will try anything we give her (she did NOT like the tofu we had for dinner, however).  We love chatting with her and barely get a word in edgewise.

Pretty Sloane catching some rays in the playroom.  She is so silly.

Choosing her toys wisely

Hey missy....no sticking your tongue out!

Hudson checked in at 19.5 pounds and 28 inches long.  He has begun waving, and likes to wave at Dylan during meal times.  He is eating table food well, too and is very efficient at getting food from the tray to his mouth.

Love that Huddy smile!

"Oh, hello.  Fancy meeting you here."

Uh, Huddy.....You've got some egg on your face.

40 weeks!!
Wait....for real??!?!?

This is by far the best pic I could snap this week.  Not one single kid is looking at the camera.

In what will later be cited as a cause for our divorce, Daddy bought the kids these
amazing percussion instruments.  #funwithnoise

When it's 20 degrees still in March, you find jungle gyms in the house.

By the way, if you hear the soft, sad sobs of a mom who is definitely in over her head; that would be me as I am attempting to fly solo with the kids next week.
Please pray for me.
