I Think We're Alone Now...

Babes- If you ever read this blog, I want you to know that your first week of life with me as the sole provider of care for your well-being is going well to quite well.  There have been some highlights as well as some lowlights (Wednesday was a low light....we no longer speak of Wednesday).  It is now Thursday, and I'm here to report that not only is everyone still alive and kicking, I might even say that we are all happy!
I'm not going to lie, I was very apprehensive about how this week was going to go.  I was just very concerned about the logistics of the whole ordeal.  But, what has been a delightful surprise with being alone with the kids, is that I'm finding out that I'm really and truly getting to know them.  I  thought I knew them inside and out, but this week has brought that to a new level.  As it turns out, this week has bonded us even closer, and I am forever grateful for it,
Some highlights of the week have included two gorgeous days of sunshine in which we were able to get out for walks, and reintroduce ourselves to our neighbors who've been hibernating as well.

We also had our first taste of blueberries, and obviously, loved them!  We've been enjoying lots of new foods, which is a mess-tastic time.

We took a day trip to Chillicothe to play with some friends.

But the highest of highlights has to be the day Huddy decided to wear pants no more.  After finishing his dinner first, he was placed in the playroom alone while we helped Dyl and Sloane finish their meals.  Upon returning to the playroom, I found Hudson sans pantalones.  I've got no idea how he did it, but I definitely understand why...no one likes to wear pants after a big meal.

41 weeks, and cuter than ever!
