Rock-Star-Tober!

Unbelievably, we say hello to a new month.  Welcome July-- I mean October!  The weather, once down right autumnal has decided to go back to the dog days of summer.  Which means all those long sleeve t shirts, jeans, and sweatshirts I quickly ran out and purchased, still have their tags on them.  However, it looks like we are going to get some good use out of them this weekend.

October has me feeling even more reflective than usual.  I'm to a point where I can clearly recall what life was like this time last year.  Sorry kids- but those first few months are a total blur- I have little to no recollection of what happened during that time.  We were still in "survival mode",  still waking up very frequently throughout the night, and still just taking it one day at a time.  What a difference a year makes!
Dylan, the man of few words, has been singing "eieio", during renditions of Old Macdonald.   Hudson and Sloane have been loving playing on the "Chugga Chugga" (train, as they call it).  And all 3 apparently love the taste of Crayola, as every time we attempt to draw, the crayons are always consumed before any marks make it on the paper.
This weekend we are looking forward to our first trip to the pumpkin patch!

Happy day at the park!

Playing on the stairs...again.

I like to call this one: "Just got to the park and put our shoes on....Awwww crap".

This is what happens when the kids are quiet.

Hudson brought this hat to me and bowed his head down for me to put it on him
Then posed for this picture.

Climbed up the chair and sat down, all by herself!
